Some things don't disappear all at once. They soften, shift, oxidize, and leave traces behind.
Fading No. 2 explores that space between presence and disappearance... ayered neutrals, translucent passages, worn surfaces, and small fragments of metal leaf that catch the light differently as you move past the painting.
Up close, the surface tells a different story: imperfect squares, oxidation, texture, and marks that feel almost excavated from beneath the layers. From across the room, they begin to dissolve into something quieter.
